Panelists BIO:
Samba Murthy, Founder & CEO, Xambala
Mr. Murthy is the founder and CEO of XaQti and Member of the Board and Director of Xambala. A serial
entrepreneur with 28+ years of industry experience, and has provided the vision and marketing strategy
underlying a number of successful products in the Data communications industry. He was previously at
Vitesse, SEEQ, and BHEL (India). He has participated in the creation of multiple generations of IEEE
Ethernet standards, industry alliances and co-founded the CSIX forum (NPU). He holds BSEE and MSEE
degrees, with multiple patents on Ethernet and data communications technology. Active in maintaining
Industry network connections, helping with BD, new ventures, M&A, talent recruitment. He is currently a
Director on the board of Xambala and working on his new venture plans.
Fred Greguras, J.D. OfCounsel, Fenwick & West, LLP
Fred M. Greguras is of counsel in the Corporate, Technology Transactions and China Practice Groups at
Fenwick & West LLP, a law firm specializing in high technology matters. He practices out of the firm’s
Mountain View, California, office. Mr. Greguras focuses on strategic legal issues for software,
semiconductor-related and life sciences companies. His practice includes start-up issues and
financings in both domestic and international transactions. He has represented a wide range of
companies in financing, M&A, licensing and other commercial transactions, from privately held start-ups
to publicly traded companies. Mr. Greguras has also been a venture capitalist and a general counsel and
CFO for a startup. Some of the clients he has represented are: BioMarker Pharmaceuticals, Inc.,
Excite@Home, Exodus Communications, Inc., Kintana, Inc., PayEase Corp., Speedera Networks, Inc.
Mr. Greguras has authored many articles on China business and legal issues, start-up, financing,
outsourcing, Internet and international legal issues, which are available at www.fenwick.com.
He received a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics from University of Omaha in 1966, a Masters of Science in
mathematics and computer science in 1968, and his J.D. in 1975 from the University of Nebraska. Mr.
Greguras is a member of the State Bar of California
Henry H. Wong, Founder & Managing Director, Diamond TechVentures
Mr. Wong has resided in China & Silicon Valley for the last 25 years. From being a Serial Entrepreneur to
a Venture Capitalist, Wong is in a unique position where he can fully utilize his operational experience,
investment talent and his Chinese heritage to help and build companies with a global vision.In his prior
Fund, Crystal Ventures, Henry was active with portfolio companies including SMIC, LGC Wireless,
Infinera, and Exavio. A seasoned investor and entrepreneur, Henry has succeeded as the founder,
chairman & CEO of SS8 Networks Inc., IP Communications, XaQti Semiconductor, CNet Technology Inc.,
and Combinet (ISDN Systems). His success, experience and leadership are invaluable in his role as an
Investor, Serial Entrepreneur and mentor in Silicon Valley.In 2002, Henry was the finalist to receive the
“Entrepreneur of the Year Award”. Henry is an Advisor to 6 non-profit organizations and is active with
community events. In education, Henry received a B.Sc. degree in Business from University of Utah and
a MBA in Telecom Management from Golden Gate University.

Sara Rauchwerger, Founder & Managing Director, BG Strategy
Ms. Rauchwerger is the Founder and Managing Director of BG Strategy, a global market entry services
company specializing in helping clients enter global markets. Ms. Rauchwerger brings over 20 years of
Business Strategy and Entrepreneurial experience from leading private enterprises and working with and
within government entities in the fields of Telecommunication, Information Technology and Aerospace.
Ms. Rauchwerger works extensivly with small and medium size companies providing strategic direction
and planning from the preparation of business plans, development of marketing plans, financial
analysis, financing, valuation, communications for new ventures, extensive long range master plans and
market research. She helped owners and shareholders maximize value through the successful
implementation of these plans. Ms. Rauchwerger holds a Masters Degree in International Business
from the Grenoble Graduate School of Business, France and a Bachelor of Science Degree in
Engineering from San Jose State University, California.
